An American couple shares their inspiring story of how they went from struggling to make ends meet to making millions.

Tezza, Tessa Barton, and Cole Herrmann were able to earn a lot of money from their love of photography through photo editing apps.

Shortly after getting married in 2017, the couple struggled to pay their R51,800-a-month New York rent.

They tried several side jobs but could not make enough money to survive.

According to CNBC, Herman was a full-time software developer at the time. Burton was a freelance photographer and aspiring influencer. They turned to the idea of leveraging both skills to create and sell photo filters in Adobe Lightroom.

“We started this without the intention of it becoming a business,” says Herrmann. “It really started as a passion project, a way for us to hopefully get some extra income to pay rent and survive in New York City.”

Tezza offers a variety of features such as presets, filters, effects, and templates that help users achieve a certain aesthetic for their content. It has grown from a couple's side business to a full-fledged lifestyle brand.

In addition to our recently launched magazine, we now offer a variety of creative products, including collage kits and clothing. However, its core product is still a popular photo and video editing app.
